King Jehoshaphat's Camel

King Jehoshaphat's Camel is the Boys' Brigades central worship group. We are a group of young people from the Brigade who have a passion for God and are gifted in the areas of Music, Drama, PA or Public Speaking.

King Jehoshaphat is a character in the Old Testament, a King and a mighty worrier. When going out to battle he sent his worshipers out before his army, and he never lost. Just as King Jehoshaphat sent out his worshipers so do KJC, going out around the country on events to lead worship.

2 Chronicles 20:15

He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.’

What We Do

We meet twice a year at Felden Lodge for a weekend called New Horizons. At New horizons we share in fellowship, worship and training. Throughout the year we go around the country with a smaller group (depending on availability) leading worship at a range of different events from youth events and Battalion Parade services to Brigade Council meetings.
