New Horizons

New Horizons is part of the BB's projects for young leaders aged 16-25.

New Horizons provides a weekend of fun, fellowship and service, with other young leaders from across the country.

"The best weekend I've ever been on. I've meet lots of very interesting people."

It is an oppertunity for members of the Brigade who are interested in offering a limited amount of time to the BB's national work to do just that and for young leaders already involved in different projects, it's a chance to meet up, learn new skills and develop the ongoing work.

The current projects run at new horizons are:

• KJC
• International Team - an opportunity to help promote better understanding of international work across the country, through an exciting range of events.
  
• Web Support Team (WST) - Group of Young people who look after the BBUK Website.

KJC at New Horizons

At New Horizons KJC lead most of the worship sessions so that everyone gets a chance to play on their instrument, do some drama or run the PA system.

We also run workshops on singing, drama, the Bible, public speaking, worship leading, band work, PA and many other subjects. We evaluate past events and bring to the group any new oppertunities we have. As a continous process we also evaluate the New Horizons programme and are always open to new ideas and suggestions.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and it is a safe and secure environment to try out new things and step out of your comfort zone!
